Vintner’s Cellar of Royal Oak is a business built through a common passion for wine and the strong desire to share that passion with everyone. Co- owners Lisa Berry and Sheryl Racey believe that the unique experience of blending, bottling, and labeling custom wines will not only find a niche market in Royal Oak, but expand to all levels of wine drinkers from the curious to the seasoned connoisseur.

Lisa and Sheryl are metro Detroit natives, growing up locally and living in the Royal Oak area. Both had successful careers in the telecommunications industry when they decided to take on the adventure of entrepreneurial work. While Lisa was planning her wedding 5 years ago, she discovered a winery that offered splits of wine with custom labels. After receiving positive feedback Lisa decided to look into this business. Sheryl has always been a connoisseur of food and wine with an interest in owning her own business so it was a natural fit for them to enter this joint venture together. Both share a passion for enjoying the experiences of life and sharing it with others.

Through Vintner’s Cellar of Royal Oak, Lisa and Sheryl want to spread their passion for wine to their customers in a relaxed, trendy setting. The Vintner’s Cellar of Royal Oak experience is about feeling comfortable while you learn, explore and enjoy the whole wine making process. It’s about letting all wine lovers know that they do not have to be experts. The most important thing is that they know what they like and are willing to try.

Vintner's Cellar of Royal Oak will be a unique location in the area to enjoy, create and purchase wine. All of the wines available will be fermented and bottled right in Royal Oak, Michigan! People will walk in and see wine at different stages of the process. They can try everything that’s available on the shelves to take home plus they can make their own batch of wine and be part of the process. There is no other place in Royal Oak where you can come in to taste, buy a bottle, make a batch and make your own label for that special touch. Again, Vintner’s Cellar of Royal Oak will be a place where the novice or the connoisseur will be comfortable and enjoy the entire wine experience.
